The tree in the middle was brought in and encased in cement at the base. the top branches were cut and attached to the ceiling, making it look as if the tree grew from the ground and went through the ceiling. This was a unique situation to figure out how to seal the tree. there was bark still on the tree but it would fall of in sheets if touched. The areas that had no bark once harbored bark beetles and left unique trails in the wood grain. We came up with a solution that would maintain the bark from falling off and give the tree a natural look when finished several products were used to achieve the final look After a few coats of (I wont tell ) was brushed and sprayed on the tree the customer a hunter was going to mount his trophy’s on it. I can already see the Bob Cat ready to pounce off one of the limbs. One of the neat things that happened after we sprayed the tree. A spider web that was in one of the hollow holes in the tree stayed inn tacked. After a clear sealer was applied the web hardened and gave the appearance of dew drops on it.
